Complesso Museale di Palazzo Ducale Mantova

Palazzo Ducale in Mantova is an emblematic case of complex architecture, in which the current configuration is the result of centuries of additions, modifications and substitutions. The understanding, for a wide audience, of the architectural, cultural, historic and documentary value of the Gonzaga’s complex needs innovative and interactive forms of communication. The MantovaLab of the Politecnico di Milano created, in 2016, a multimedia exhibition in which a maquette and 3D digital model, an immersive video projection, an interactive guide and a light mapping on the phisical model, let the visitor to understand and explore through the time the Palazzo Ducale.
